While it’s still quite hot and muggy out, there are little signs that the season is changing. The days are getting a bit shorter. There are a few cool breezes from time to time. Fall is coming. Back to school. Back to work. Back to routines. New routines and new habits.
Now is the perfect time to pause and check in. How are you? Have you asked yourself that? At the start of this pandemic, we embraced the notion that we are in this together. Now, several months in, that idea is more important than ever. While things have gotten complicated, politically charged, and even more challenging than we ever could have imagined, we need to double down on care – for others and ourselves. Friends, quite simply, if we don’t remind ourselves of that important concept of community, we are never going to move forward. We are truly in this together. We are relying on each other now more than other.
So, as we move into a new season, I invite you to pause and check in with yourself, your family, your neighbors, and your community. How are you? How are they?
And please – let me know. I truly love hearing from you. Your questions and stories light up my day.
Sending you love and health.
