At Soupergirl, “good” isn’t a marketing word. It’s how we source, cook, and show up — every day. From keeping food waste out of landfills to offsetting our packaging footprint, we’re building a food system we actually believe in.
Every batch of soup and salsa starts with fresh vegetables — and that means peels, stems, and scraps. Instead of sending that waste to landfills, we partner with Compost Cab to give it a second life.
Through our partnership with Compost Cab, those scraps are picked up and turned into nutrient-rich compost that goes back into the soil. What was once waste becomes something that helps grow more food. It’s a full-circle system — and one we’re proud to be part of.
Packaging is complicated. While we continue working toward better solutions, we believe in taking responsibility for what we put into the world today.
That’s why we’re certified plastic neutral through our partnership with rePurpose Global — funding the recovery of as much plastic as we use.
Our soups are built around vegetables, grains, and legumes — ingredients that naturally require fewer resources than many conventional alternatives.
Part of sustainability means building community. From the Northwest Food Pantry to Yah Yehuda, Soupergirl donates thousands of pounds of soup to partner organizations in our community each year.
